Training

River Valley HRC holds regularly scheduled training sessions March through August. Members also get together and train in informally scheduled training sessions almost every week during the season.

Directions
Dog Training Permit
A $25 dog training permit is required by the State Wisconsin if you are going to use game birds while training your dog. See the links below for specific regulations and permit application.
Flyers
Live flyers are available for training day with notice at least 24 hours in advance.
We charge a nominal per dog fee for our organized training days: $5 for your first dog and $3 for each additional dog. This fee goes toward grounds, equipment and bird costs.
